The Classic Porsches of CMS 23’
Following the explanation in the last CMS 23’ post the Porsche section was the place where the other half of the almost-full memorycard’s memory went.
I can’t way that the flat black “Stella Artois” RWB is my favorite RWB of all time, but I can’t deny that it was cool seeing one in person non the less.
Strosek was one of those exclusive german tuning brands that went all out during the 80’s and 90’s, with this Porsche 928 as a perfect example.
Basically every panel has been changed up. Widened arches with classic Testarossa-styled vents, a huge rear wing probably reducing the rear view to 0, squared rear view mirrors and a new front and rear bumper, hood, you name it. A very cool piece time machine back to the wild 80’s.
A very clean black 911 next to a single seat Carrera Junior, a “half scale” fully functioning 911 produced in very limited numbers by Porsche in the 80’s.
Can’t go wrong with a 964 on BBS LM’s.
One of the personal favorites in the Porsche-section. Not because of the looks necessarily but the fact that it’s a regularly used and tracked car. A very well worn 911 with huge fender flares and a “my buddy can do it cheaper”-paint job. And according to the owner “it’s not powerful but the weight of the car still makes it a blast to drive.”
Continuing with the worn and used theme.
You can’t go wrong with racing-styled mesh wheels on Porches. You just can’t.
DP motorsport is another german tuning company that went ham on Porsches back in the day. While Strosek went with more of a street-aggressive look DP motorsport went with a, well, motorsport-inspired look with a Porsche 953 targa being the base for this one.
Just going to sneak these “budget” Porsches in here and hope no one notices…
And that concludes this second part of the limited CMS 23’ event coverage.
Thank you for scrolling all the way through.
