The complete S13 bodykit guide.

If you want to put a bodykit on your S13 it’s very easy to be influenced only by the kits sold by your local auto parts store. And randomly stumbling across the kit that actually matches the exact style that you want can take many hours of scrolling through social medias, flipping pages in old magazines or a lot of watch hours on youtube videos. Wanting to make it easier for people to build more unique cars with bodykits that might not be sold by every parts shop I’ve put together this long post showcasing as many kits as I can*.

If there is interest amongst those of you who found this post helpful I will be making a guide for spoilers, head- and rear lights as well as mirrors too.

*if you know of kits that are not featured in this post, feel free to tell me about them via the contact form.
Many of the photos are taken from the “Drift Tengoku Legend of 180SX full scan by @malekzain13”. Credit on the rest of the photos have been given when available.

Pignose / Zenki
OEM front bumper between 89’-91’. Featuring thinner rectangular turn signals and position lights, a split “grill” and an additional lower lip.

Zenki - with R32 Skyline lip (K Style front)
This lip is not bolt on, but is a great addition to a Zenki front end. The lip is a little bit flared compared to the OEM lip. K Style did their own bumper inspired by this lip, with the Nissan logo and the OEM striped indent deleted.

Kiminari lip kit for the Zenki and Chuki
A lip kit similar to the OEM bumper lines, but with a pointy lip both on the front and rear.

Sharknose / Chuki
OEM front pumper between 92’-96’. Featuring oval/drop shaped turn signals and position lights.

Chuki - side skirts
OEM side skirt option for the Chuki model. Follows the original lines but has a lower base and a curvature both outwards and downwards. Helps the profile follow better with most fron and rear lip kits.

Chuki - with Pignose lip
A budget friendly lip if you want a lower and more aftermarket look on your Chuki front end. Works well with Chuki side skirts and a rear valence as well. Note that this lip is not bolt on.

Chuki - Canada rear valence
An OEM rear valence option for the Canadian market. Follows the original bumper angle and keeps the rounded rear end look.

Pro Shop Wave/B Wave - Aero Master Version 1 lip kit.
Flat, vented front lip for the Chuki front end, bulkier side skirts and a rear-side valence. B Wave is also very known for their large Wangan spoiler.

Eastbear - front lips
Front lips for the Chuki front end. Good option for a low key kit and flows well with Chuki sideskirts and a rear valence. Great look with smaller wheels.

Veilside - Flip Light E-I lip kit for the Chuki front end.
A lip following the OEM lines, but making the bumper lower. “Matchin” side skirts are also available.

Veilside - Flip Light E-II lip kit for the Chuki front end.
Featuring a front lip angled forwards and rounder chunkier side skirts.

Type-X / Kouki
The most “popular” OEM bodykit. Consists of a front end, front lip, side skirts, rear valence and spoiler. The rectangular turn signals are often used for aftermarket bumpers. The kit gives an aggressive look but does not add much height to the body. The front and rear parts does not not have to be used with the rest of the kit, but can also be used in combination with other OEM options/ aftermarket bodykits.
The Type-X taillights are also a very popular upgrade from the standard OEM lights that came on the other S13 models.

Hot Road
A Type-X style kit. Great if you want the Type-X look but more aggressive and lower. Consists of a front end, front lip (that can also be used with theregular Type-X front and is 1cm lower than the original), side skirts and a rear valence.

Above showcasing the Hot Road front lip on the OEM Type-X front (with V1 vent inserts), bellow showcasing the Hot Road front end.

G-Grow
Featuring a Type-X replica front bumper without the protruding plate for the license plate and larger and more flares Type-X-like side skirts. The rear lip is a thinner option than the Hot Road one, but larger than the OEM Type-X valence. Great option to add uniqueness to your Type-X kit or Chuki side skirts.

EZO-ISM
Front lip option for the OEM Type-X bumper following the OEM lip lines with an additional “splitter” underneath giving it a lower look. The side skirts and the rear bumper are a reproduction of an old G-Grow bodykit. The side skirts are fairly flat with integrated “splitters”. The rear lip follows the lines from the side skirts and is tilted at an angle, like the Type-X, Hot Road and G-Grow valences.

Above showcasing the EZO-ISM front lip on the OEM Type-X front together with the EZO-ISM side skirts and rear lip, bellow showcasing the EZO-ISM front end and the G-Grow reproduction EZO-ISM spoiler.

Pictures of the original G-Grow bodykit.

GT-1 Motorsport
Type-X styled full bodykit. A front end sharing a lot of shapes with the OEM front, but with a larger gaps between the two “pillars” underneath the license plate and with integrated V1 vents and front “lip”. Sideskirts that are vented both front and rear and the rear is sleek and tilted at an angle. The GT-1 spoiler is also very similar to the OEM one, but a bit taller, wider and with bigger end plates. Perfect if you think that the OEM spoiler is too narrow for your aftermarket bodykit.

GP Sports - Type 2 side skirts
Very similar shape and curvature as the OEM Type-X side skirts, but smoother and wider.

GP Sports - G-Sonic
Subtle kit with Type-X styled vents on the side of the front, iconic vented side skirts and a simple rear end. Exists with both Zenki and Type-X position lights.

Sexy Style - front bumper Type 2
A different shaped bumper to the V1, with protruding edges around the vents.

M-Sports - Type-A & Type-B
A sleek bodykit that doesn’t build all too much height to the car, making this kit great if you want your ride height very low without having your kit laying on the ground before your tire even reaches your fender. Both fronts features a sharper front making them a great option if you don’t want to travel all too far from a Type-X look.
(All cars below also features the larger single-vent M-Sports bonnet.)

Type-A: Using the Chuki position lights, featuring slim aero vents.

Type-B: Using the Type-X position lights, featuring a larger vent allowing better air flow to the intercooler.

A beautiful example featuring the full kit with the Type B bumper.
