Eddie’s S13 revamp - Garage Visit.

I got to know Eddie when I was searching for a stereo bracket for my S13 about 5 years ago. He and a few other friends helped me a lot during my early S13 days with installing coilovers, changing broken turbos and fixing manifoldgasket-leaks. During this time Eddie got his S13 on the road too. It got a Type-X bodykit, some fresh paint and TE73’s. Since the goals for my own S13 was a full Type-X kit I looked up to the car a lot.

The car has been taking to a few Sturup events, streeto sessions and touge runs and a big service/revamp was due. Other car projects and hobbies took the focus from the S13 for a while but he is now getting back to putting the car on the road.

The car currently sits a few centimeters higher than it usually is.

A lot has happened since the car touched ground the last time. Starting off the rear subframe has been serviced with a fresh powdercoat and new bushings.

5 lug hubs all around, new brake discs, S14 brake calipers in the front and a dual- S14 caliper setup in the back. And can’t forget about the Endless brake pads on one of the rear caliper pairs.

Visually the car is getting more of an aftermarket look. A second hand body kit was purchased and the front is getting some splitters too. The kit contains a BN Sports Type 3 rear bumper and matching side skirts, with a Origin Stylish Line front end.

Eddie sold the TE37’s and after a few owners in the middle they have now ended up on another friends BMW E46.

The TE’s has been replaced with a set of 18” Gram Lights 57DR’s for the rear (GREAT choice if you ask me) and a set of 17” Enkei P1’s for the front.

PLEASE NOTE!

Since I shot the content to this blog post the semi black 57DR’s have been powdercoated white. This is very important information because black wheels aint it.

Eddie has many nice pieces of candy laying around too. Some will be used on the S13, and some are just nice having laying around.

Can’t be having all these parts laying next to the car without doing some test mounting, of -everything-.

The interior of this car is classic. Roofliner painted black, black Bride seats and Nardi steering wheel.

Can’t forget about his old Beatle either. A fresh build that was finished just before the S13 all those years ago.

Eddie shares his garage with his dad, who is kind of an American-car fanatic, which if wasn’t given away by the cars in the back definitely is by the decoration of the coffee room. Here you’ll find anything from car sofas to old bikes and classic oil signs.

That’s some old school garage goals right there.

I very much look forward to seeing this thing on the street next season (hopefully).
