S14 with all the right pieces - Machine Check
A car can look good, and a car can look cool. You can make a car look good with just a set of nice wheels with good fitment, but a car that’s cool has personality and well thought through details throughout the build. This for me is a cool car.
The Origin Stylish Line body kit can give almost any car a simple yet sporty look and the round edges of the kit goes extra well with the Zenki headlights of the S14. The wingless trunk continues that smooth roundness.
One of my personal favorite pieces on the car are the Bomex Type 2 mirrors. They have a similar triangular design to the Eastbear mirrors that I have on my S13 but with an added “fin” that flows along the edge of the door integrating the mirror with the body way better. A super cool detail.
The interior goes in a mainly black theme with white and black details. The steering wheel is a sample of the Oaktree Outlaws X NRG collab wheel that the owner won in a giveaway this summer with an added Sandels horn button delete. The original gauges were swapped out to a set of white and red Birba Racing faces by a previous owner, an interior detail that many brands made their own version of back in the early 2000’s.
The gauge faces goes very well with the white Nismo shift knob. Black Recaro SR3’s out of an Integra Type R will hold you in place going sideways and some red floor mats help tie the red details together.
The roundness of the exterior is contrasted by the fully chrome 18” Work Rezax 2’s. The chrome”silver theme continues through the clear side markers and turn signals up front.
The car is painted in a dark purple metallic paintjob that turned golden in the sunset light. And again, love the wingless look on this particular car.
Even though the exterior and interior has been touched, under the hood is where most of the fun has been had.
When the owner bought the car back in 2022 the SR20DET was broken. He took it apart and as in most cases the damage was worse than expected. Well a simple repair job got out of hand and the engine has been fully built with the purpose of track use in mind.

At the moment it’s making roughly 350hp and hasn’t hit the dyno yet.
This S14 is a perfect example of a great all-around car. Perfect for car shows, a streeto or track session or just a Sunday drive to the market.
Not being dyno’d yet I couldn’t push it, but just driving a Nissan-powered Schassi for a few 100m made me super stoked to get the S13 up and running.
Can’t wait to go back to Finland next year and hope to see this beauty out on the track.
