UX/UI designer wanted posters
The case: During my time as a designer at Creuna Malmö (now Knowit Experience) I was tasked with producing posters letting the city know that we were looking to hire a UX/UI designer. Posters were put up all over town and we got messages from friends who had seen them as well as competitors telling us “well played” after seeing the “Quit your job” posters.
The design: The design had to follow brand guide lines such as colors and fonts. I chose the most contrasting color combos I could make out of what I had to work with making the in your face and bold statements even bolder. The text content was made as big as possible and using outlines certain key words were highlighted. The design was much appreciated both from people outside as well as inside the company, making other Creuna offices later using the same design template.
Worth mentioning that these designs were so good that they were later on copied by Fortum.
Magazine ad for Lardel
The case: Create 3 posts that showcases the Lardel catalogue.
The design: 3 posts were to be made that could be pinned on the top of the Lardel Instagram page. I wanted visitors to quickly understand the styling of the brand as well as get a glimpse of the products and services that the brand supplies. The design should follow the same brand guideline and style throughout the all of the pages without becoming too repetitive.
Packaging for VTS
The case: The Lardel sub-brand VTS focuses on car accessories and needed a packaging design that could be used throughout the ever growing lineup of products. The designs below shows a paper insert for a plastic box and folded packaging for a plastic bag.
The design: I wanted a simple and descriptive design that allowed the product to stay in focus, hence why I chose black and white as primary colors. The main elements consists of the VTS logo, a brief description of the product and product variants. To make it clearly visible that this product is made by Lardel I implemented blue elements behind the logo on the front of the designs. As for the inside of the folded paper packaging the inside is left black as this will help the product stay in focus.
Folder for Malmö University
The case: Example of a folder mockup made following Malmö Universitet ‘s brand colors, picture bank and content requirements.
The design: Diagonal lines were used to create individual blocks for the pages, separating them while still creating a design that follows through the entire folder. The front page showcased the company logo, a bold headline question showing what the folder is about and a short introduction text.
